Bullying Assemblies Not Just For Students

I have been performing the Stronger Than A Bully assembly show for a few years now and have always received positive responses from the teachers and faculty.  Anytime a performer receives a nice comment as the teachers exit the auditorium, it adds a bit of icing on the cake. We watch the faces and reactions constantly during the performance to check for attention level and to see if they are getting the message. And to be honest, we watch the faculty as well.

National Bully Awareness Week

By now, we would hope that most people have some awareness bullying in our schools and just how tragic the outcome often is. To raise awareness even more, each year in October we observe National Bullying Prevention Month. What started as a week of observance, founded in 2006 by Pacer's National Center For Bullying Prevention, the campaign has grown to occupy the entire month. Now coming up on it's eleventh year, the celebration truly it has an affect on the entire month and the entire year. And deservedly so. The scourge of bullying is preventable.

Steubenville, Ohio Rape Case Underlines Bullying Problem In US

Recent events in the small city of Steubenville, Ohio have drawn national attention to the small community across the river from West Virginia. Members of a much loved local football team are charged with raping a young woman, while controversy flares concerning the possible involvement of several others. An inflammatory video has surfaced showing another team member laughing, joking and making crude remarks in reference to the victim. Meantime allegations of a cover up to protect the local team are flying wildly around the internet.

Great New School Assemblies For Colorado in 2012-2013

Colorado is a wonderful place and a state our presenters love to visit. Who would not love the beautiful scenery and great people to be found in the “Rocky Mountain State”? Mobile Ed school show performers sure do!

So we were sad a few years ago when the economic crunch prevented us from visiting this stunning place for a year or two. However, we began returning to Colorado with our school programs two years ago (much to the relief and happiness of our performers), and this year we have an entire roster of some of our very best school assemblies available to schools there.
