Sitting here in the depths of our Michigan winter, we thought to turn our gaze westward toward warmer places for a change. Midwest school assemblies or school shows on the East Coast are usually the topic of this blog, but we have been looking at Michigan school assembly performers and Ohio school assembly performers so much lately I thought we might look westward instead, and follow that California Dream a little. 

Mario has been resident in Southern California for some years now providing Mobile Ed’s California school assemblies by way of two different programs. He is our west coast school assemblies guy for Sky Dome Planetarium (our portable planetarium) and The Earth Dome. He recently completed a tour through the area of Vacaville, California with Sky Dome, and here are some of the comments we received:

You will note that some of these comments refer to evening performances. California schools long ago caught onto the great idea of using school assemblies and science assemblies as the centerpiece for family nights, helping to draw the community together around the local school. What a great idea!
