School Assemblies in Michigan Make For Great Summer Science Camps

science assembliesSpring is barely arriving, but it is not too soon to begin thinking about the summer. Kids will soon be out of school and underfoot! How do you keep them busy and yet keep their minds active, too? Sports are great in the summer but not all kids like sports, and some kids need a break from sports. The perfect answer is Summer Science Camps!

School districts, church groups, YMCA’s, Parks and Recreation Departments and many other kinds of organizations look for ways to occupy kids constructively during the summer months. School assemblies can help!earth balloon

Mobile Ed Productions is based in Michigan, of course, so most of our presenters end their traveling with the end of the school year, and are at home in Michigan over the summer. So for years, we have made them available to different organizations during the summer to conduct Summer Science Camps for kids. And combining school assemblies with Summer Camp makes for a great mix. Kids enrolled in these camps may spend Monday engaged in Chemistry experiments, Tuesday involving themselves in experiments in physical science, Forensic science on Wednesday and Astronomy on Thursday. Friday could be a day “gone to the animals”, spent studying Natural Science with one of our live animal presenters. All in all, a summer week spent in science can be a real blast!

midwest science assembly programsWe offer these programs to Michigan organizations, but we can also do so for groups in other states if a package can be worked out with enough days to make it worth the trip for our performer. Over the years we have conducted summer science camps with Ohio science assemblies, Indiana science assemblies, Kentucky science assemblies, California science assemblies. We even sent a presenter to Key West, Florida one year!

So if your organization is looking to constructively engage a group of kids this summer it would behoove you to check out the possibility of making it a week of exciting science with Mobile Ed!
