In March of 1979, a local television magician/celebrity and veteran teacher from Livonia schools, Larry Thompson, together with two partners, founded Mobile Ed Productions! With a brand new science assembly featuring way cool special effects, Mobile Ed came into existence and has steadily grown ever since. midwest school assembliesToday, Mobile Ed is one of the largest ( and we think the best!) school assembly companies in the country, sending science assemblies, portable planetariums, live animal assembly programs, historical school assemblies and you name it from our home in Michigan into schools all over the nation! For 2011 we are adding three exciting new programs, continuing to grow and find new ways to serve schools all over the country!

Last week, in a small celebration here in our Redford office the staff gathered to honor Larry and the companies 32nd year of operation! May 32 more be just as successful and bring the light of learning to thousands more children in the years to come!
