Native American Assembly Program Visits Warsaw, Indiana!

Written by Geoff Beauchamp | Wed, Feb 1, 2012

I posted some photos recently from a performance by our Piankeshaw Trails Native American school assembly in the Chicago area, and I wanted to share another one.  But this morning we also received a lovely piece of video put together by a good friend of ours following a performance at his school, so that is included here, too!

Piankeshaw Trails is an awesome program bringing to life the rich traditions and history of the Native American Woodland Indian Tribes of the Ohio Valley states. Performed by a trained anthropologist who was married to a Native American, this super cool and very “hands on” school show is a blast for all kids, but especially for intermediate grades who are required to study the local tribes of their states history.

We recently brought the program to Washington Elementary in Warsaw, Indiana, where the principal is Mr. Tom Ray, a longtime friend of Mobile Ed Productions. Tom shot some photos of the day and put together the short video that we are kindly allowed to share here. Thanks, Tom! And thanks to all the staff and students at washington! We loved being there, and, by the looks of things, you loved having us!
