Anti Bully School Assembly Schedule Filling in for 2012-2013!

Amazing! Simply amazing!

I could be speaking about the performances and audience reaction to David Mitchell, the creator of and performer of Stronger Than a Bully, because that would be an accurate characterization.

However, I am not. Instead, I am registering my shock at how quickly dates are filling in on NEXT year’s schedule for this dedicated performer. We only started accepting booking for this awesome anti bullying school show one week ago, and already we are almost out of dates for Indiana and Ohio for 2012-2013! Other states are filling in quickly, too!

I am not surprised. Bullying remains a key issue of importance in schools across the nation, and Stronger Than a Bully addresses the issue in a manner perfect for elementary aged students, by showing children a series of behaviors designed to allow them to avoid becoming victims of bullies, while also explaining some of the key reasons why other children participate in bullying. This program has been lauded by schools across the country all year, and the credit all goes to Dave Mitchell for his stunning performance skills and the heart and soul he has poured into this great school assembly.

Not content to rest on his laurels, nor willing to risk boring children by presenting the same program to them two years in a row, dave has now announced he is hard at work on a sequel to Stronger Than a Bully, incorporating all the good stuff of the first but in a new form so as to retain the magic of surprise. So schools that already enjoyed the show this year can schedule it to return knowing they will not be watching exactly the same thing again.

But at this rate it won’t matter. So many schools denied the chance to host the program in 11-12 are now scheduling for 12-13, that by the time a lot of our regular clients call we may not have any dates left for Stronger Than a Bully. Schools seeking assembly ideas for next year should not wait long to try and grab a date before they are all gone.

I think I may need to speak to the boffins in our skunkworks and see if there is a way to clone Dave Mitchell.

Hey, Dave, can we borrow a little DNA?
