Written by Ryan Thompson | Tue, Jan 16, 2018

Celebrate the life and accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a school-wide assembly program everyone will remember forever.  This program is extremely popular for Black History Month!  Watch a new video showing this long-running civil rights program in action.

Mobile Ed's Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. program has been running for over fifteen years, making it one of the longest-running programs in our catalog -- and for good reason! This show leaves an impact wherever it plays, and you can now see this outstanding program in action in a brand-new video.

Give this short video a watch to see what sort of presentation you're getting with our Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. school assembly program.

This 45-minute, one-man presentation explores the life and times of Dr. King through powerful spoken word, stories, songs, and even his famous speeches.  The performance will enable students to understand what Dr. King's childhood was like and will offer important insights into life in the American south during his youth. It will underscore Dr. King's dedication to knowledge and education. The program will also highlight Dr. King's belief in non-violence as the only effective way to battle social injustice and inequality. An inspiring review of the more prominent historical events of the civil rights movement will also be presented.

If you have not made plans for how you will explore Black History Month this year, and are looking for ideas, give us a call. We may be able to help!  Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as well as Frederick Douglass and The Spirit to Overcome are all excellent ways to celebrate Black History Month.
