Saving Money on School Shows for Schools On A Budget!

Posted on Tue, Dec 13, 2011

school showsMany schools are having a difficult time during the current economic slowdown finding funds for bringing school shows to their students. Times are hard! But Mobile Ed does not think that the kids should have to suffer and wants to help!

For the past few months we have been posting monthly “specials”, or reduced prices for certain school shows in select areas. Now our prices are already low, as those who work with us often can attest. But these special “deals make the offer even sweeter.

Look at Illinois, for example. Looking ahead to January, Illinois schools can save money on five different programs including great january shows such as our awesome Character Counts school show, Inspector Iwannano, and also the perfect January program, Martin Luther King just in time for the MLK birthday holiday!

Or look at New Jersey where schools looking for school assembly ideas can grab a date for The Living Lincoln or Martin Luther King for just $295! The Living Lincoln is also available at a steep discount for Michigan school assemblies. We even have some low price dates available for Martin Luther King school shows out in Washington, around the Seattle area, where they are required to take note of the MLK Day celebrations. How much better does it get?

Every month we will post new listings (if we have them), so be sure to check back often. Or just sign up for our monthly newsletter. Either way, it is a great way to save money and stretch your budget for school shows and assemblies.

How can we do this? Well, rest assured the quality of the program does not suffer at all. Schools choosing to schedule one of these discounted dates will receive the same ultra high quality, educational school show as everyone else, complete with all the excitement, bells and whistles! The trick is that Mobile Ed, as the largest company in the country producing and touring with educational assembly programs, is in a unique position. We tour a lot! We have a lot of schools shows. And as such it sometimes (not often) occurs that we will see that a tour will be in, say, Chicago next month, and that there are still a few holes in the schedule. Well, our performers love their jobs, and the excitement they can bring to kids, and they like to work every day. Rather than send a presenter back to a hotel room we would rather help out a school on a budget. After all, once a date has passed, it is of no use to anyone, is it?

Now some companies, and individuals in our business prefer to hide this fact, and will offer discounts based on promises of secret “grant” money. Well, we have been in this business since 1979, and For Profit companies do not receive “grants”. We prefer to be totally honest with our clients. We perform in thousands and thousands of schools every year. Occasionally we have days that are not scheduled anywhere. It is that simple. Bad for us, good for you!

So take advantage of us! Check out the special offers page and see if we have any “steals” in your area. Your friends and your students won’t know that you saved a few dollars, and, shhhhh, ... we won’t tell them!
