Talking recently about some great school assembly performers we may have mentioned a favorite of ours named David Killion. Dave is from Higgins Lake, Michigan, up in the Northern part of the lower peninsula of Michigan. So when he goes on tour, he has gone a long way before he even leaves the state!

I had to share this. As January kicks off and Schools begin to enjoy our Martin Luther King school assembly program, reports begin to come back. I spoke to representatives of two schools this morning and thought I would share their responses.

Many states focus their 4th Grade curriculum on elements of their own state history. This gives the savvy coordinator of school assembly programs some great options!
