The Gold Standard in School Assembly Programs

Posted on Wed, Sep 4, 2013

awesome school assembly1 resized 600Mobile Ed has a lot of great performers. That is an understatement really! Mobile Ed has lots and lots of really amazing school show presenters! That is how we have not only remained in business for more than thirty years, but how we have led the world of school shows the entire time and are now the largest company in the country presenting high quality school assemblies in communities nationwide.

But even though we know this, it is still nice to be recognized. And we like to take note when that happens to one of our very best.

David Mitchell is one of our very best performers. He is the "Gold Standard” when it comes to programs in schools. Simply put, he is awesome.

Based in Tennessee, David spends the school year touring the country for Mobile Ed, visiting schools all over the Midwest, East Coast and Texas. Schools love him!

So, it is equally natural that each year his touring commences once again in schools in Kentucky and Tennessee, that are at least close to his home.

So it was, that this year, for the second year in a row, one of his first performances took place at a school in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Last year Mahaffey hosted David with his ultra cool Imathimation assembly where kids learn that “math” can be and really is “fun!” Here is a link to a review of last years performance.

Staff, students and parents at Mahaffey enjoyed David so much that he was invited back again this year. Though this time David was asked to perform a different program. This year david brought them his acclaimed Stronger Than a Bully. Bullying is, of course, a scourge that has become far too prevalent among school aged children in America. Many schools are implementing year round programs designed to curb this damaging behavior. Several years ago, using work based in the concepts of Bullies to Buddies, David developed Stronger Than a Bully, and it was an outstanding success from day one. Dates for David's tour routinely sell out, and our booking year always begins with a long waiting list for his show. More recently, the original Stronger Than a Bully was joined by You've Got a Friend, David's second foray into assemblies teaching how to avoid bullying.

Here is a recent review from the local paper, The Fort Campbell Courier:

If you are looking for an outstanding anti bullying school show to aid in your efforts to reduce or eradicate bullying in your school, Stronger Than a Bully is an excellent choice. But don't delay. Remaining dates for this year for David Mitchell are extremely limited, and, in fact, in some areas may be sold out entirely. Call today!

Oh, and don't forget... besides bullying and math, David also offers a remarkably good reading program (Reading! More Than Words!) as well as an utterly staggeringly good impersonation of Ben Franklin. Really. He is really that good!
