Mobile Ed Presents STEAM Museum

The STEAM Museum is one of the best ways to expose

students to expensive, advanced technology, new fields of study, and modern sciences in a fun and safe environment right at your school or venue. This best-selling program is delivered to thousands of schools every year to provide students with the opportunity to explore how science, technology, engineering, art, and math work all around them and how they work together. Students dive into learning about modern STEAM principles while having fun and challenging themselves.

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) education is a nationwide initiative that encourages critical thinking, increases scientific literacy and understanding, and enables and empowers the next generation of innovators. It's a synergistic approach to teaching the STEAM disciplines instead of isolating them as separate schools of thought. For this reason, the STEM initiative began incorporating art to bring the creative right brain into traditional scientific thinking.

The STEAM Museum educates students on the following:

  • Technology
  • Simple machines
  • 3D printing
  • Computer programming
  • Robotics
  • Geometry
  • Invention
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Team building

Though many schools bring in their staff and students to experience the STEAM Museum during the school day for free, some schools may wish to charge a small fee to enter the museum to help pay for the program and/or fundraise for their school. Charging a minimal fee to enter the museum will help fundraise and build community between students, families, and the school. Each STEAM Museum session is 40 minutes long.

A few of our exhibits include:

Virtual Reality Expeditions

Travel through time and space with our high-quality virtual reality expeditions! These advanced headsets give students a realistic and immersive journey through the solar system, prehistoric eras, and important landmarks.

3D Printer

This exhibit provides an amazing demonstration of a state-of-the-art 3D printer in action. Students watch as the printer creates a 3D model of their choice while it also appears on a computer monitor right before their eyes.

Programmable Robots

We bring to the museum multiple programmable robots students can "code" in real-time at the STEAM Museum! This is one of the students' favorite exhibits!
