It’s almost over! The 2025-26 school year, that is. This week, the team at Mobile Ed is taking the time to reflect on all the special moments we helped create for students across the country this past academic year, doing what we do best: educating through entertainment. From the student-favorite SkyDome Planetarium to the hands-on traveling STEAM Museum, Mobile Ed was happy to help educators nationwide deliver unforgettable experiences for their students this school year. Keep reading to see some of our favorite highlights!

Mobile Ed Hits the Headlines!

At Mobile Ed, it’s always an honor to have our programs featured in the local news! In January, Indiana’s WTHI-TV 10 highlighted an inspirational creative writing experience for Ben Franklin Elementary, made possible by a school-wide grant from the Vigo County Education Foundation. Our Young Authors’ Day program invited students to craft their own stories, with a chance to watch those creations come to life through an interactive stage performance.

“You get them excited about writing. That’s the important thing.”

Another exciting program, Mobile Ed’s STEAM Museum, was featured by the Beaufort County School District following a visit to Hilton Head Elementary School in South Carolina. Students had the chance to reflect on what they learned after exploring the 12 exhibits, putting the hands-on experience into their own words:

“I think it’s good, because we can learn more science things and tools, and we can build, look around, and discover new things in science.”

Sharing the Fun on Social Media

There are few things the Mobile Ed Team loves more than seeing students having fun during one of our programs. Nothing beats opening social media to discover that we’ve been tagged by a school that was kind enough to share footage full of the excitement and joy experienced at one of our educational assemblies. Now we’d love to share some of our favorite posts from throughout the school year with you!

The students at St. John's Lutheran School in Wisconsin got to experience an exciting new perspective on the planet when the Earth Dome rolled up in September! This unique experience helps students better visualize the scale of the planet as they learn about Earth’s continents, oceans, and geographical features.

In November, our SkyDome Planetarium traveled to two Texas schools that were kind enough to share their experiences! Cross Oaks PTA posted their students’ exciting cosmic adventure, sharing a series of photos that captured the excitement and wonder inside the dome.

Right in time for the holidays, Franklin School in Bloomfield, New Jersey, celebrated multiple winter holidays at once with our Christmahanukwanzamadan program in December! Students learned holiday traditions and songs from other cultures, and even got to enjoy a sleigh ride in the “snow”! Not only did this experience get students hyped for the holidays, but it also helped them better understand and share in their classmates' different customs.

In March, students at La Presa Elementary in California enjoyed an action-packed presentation of SK8 4 Life, an assembly that uses skateboarding as an example of the benefits of maintaining active hobbies as part of a healthy lifestyle. These fun skateboarding tricks are a big hit with students and help to demonstrate what students can accomplish by overcoming obstacles and committing to goals.

Beyond the Bell’s Spectacular Spring Camp in California got to experience a pair of exciting back-to-back programs: Quest for Kindness and Air: The Invisible Wonder. Campers embarked on an adventure to unlock social skills and prevent bullying, then learned about the properties of air, atmospheric pressure, and vacuums, all while participating in exciting demonstrations that proved just how fun learning science can be!

Speaking of fun science, the STEAM Museum traveled to North Carolina to give students at Ingenium Barack Obama Charter School the chance to explore STEAM concepts such as robotics, virtual reality, engineering, art, and more, all at their own pace. Finally, our SkyDome Planetarium helped end the 2025-26 school year with a bang for the students at Oakboro Choice STEM School. The North Carolinian students celebrated with a journey through the cosmos, igniting their imaginations just before summer break.
