The 4th of July is right around the corner!  The night sky will be filled with beautiful fireworks but before the sun goes down start the celebration by creating safe and colorful "fireworks" that you can make all by yourself.  This easy experiment uses common items you probably already have in your kitchen!  Have some hands-on fun with the whole family before the real fireworks begin!  Happy Independence Day!

Hey everybody!  Handy Dan is back for another summer of fun activities!  We're going to start things off with an activity you'll flip for - a magic flipping bottle!  Learn how to impress your family and friends with a water bottle that will always land right side up when you flip it.  It may look like magic, but it's really science at work!  Check it out!

It’s time to bid farewell to the snowflakes and get out our umbrellas -- spring is finally here! And as we all know, with April showers come May flowers...but where do those April showers come from, anyway?  We’re here to help you out with a quick refresher on the water cycle just in time to make the most of those rainy days -- along with a few activities to make the time go by faster!

Don’t worry -- you don’t have to wish for rain on this St. Patrick’s Day to be able to enjoy a rainbow! Handy Dan and his friend Junkbot are here to teach you how to make your very own St. Paddy’s Day rainbow* in the privacy of your own home -- you won’t even need an umbrella!

I know it isn't even summer vacation yet, but it's never too early to book your fall school assemblies.  With so much happening, September catches everyone off guard, and before you know it the shows you want will be sold-out already.  Don't start your school year with disappointment!  Book your shows before someone else beats you to it.

March 14 is Pi Day! No, not Pie Day, Pi Day -- the day celebrating the irrational number resulting from the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. Don’t worry -- you can still celebrate with all the cherry filling and meringue you’d like. Still, Pi Day provides us with an opportunity to explore an important mathematical concept in a fun and new way!

In November, 2017, St. Veronica School in Howell was awarded a $1,000.00 grant from the Manasquan Bank Charitable Foundation to use for the advancement of the school’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) program. The well-deserved funds were used to bring Mobile Ed’s STEAM Museum, a portable field trip, to the school on Friday, February 2nd during Catholic Schools Week. It’s an honor to be a part of this moment!
